Austria international Marco Friedl has dismissed links to Nottingham Forest and says there have been no discussions over a move to the City Ground.
Reports earlier this week claimed the Reds were keen on the Werder Bremen captain who has two years left to run on his contract.
Forest are believed to be in the hunt for a new centre-back and Friedl’s name has cropped up as a potential candidate.

Forest were claimed to have made contact with the player’s representatives with his fee said to be around £10m to £15m.
But Bremen are under no pressure to sell although it is reported they would consider a switch for the right price.
