Couldn’t do much with the penalty or third goal but will have been disappointed to see the first go through him.
Also seemed to react slowly to Union’s fourth which is a concern.
James Tavernier – 4
Better than he was against Birmingham City, however, he should have done better in the build up to the penalty incident and was weak for Union’s fourth.
Poor positionally for two of the goals and on other occasions, in possession though, he looked like a different player.
Can see how he might be useful against low-block sides, maybe not against the better teams to start off with.
Ben Davies – 6
Solid enough, will need to adjust to having to be more vocal and organise the left-hand side of defence, especially when Jefte is playing.
John Souttar – 6
As with Davies, performed reasonably well, most of the defensive issues were in wide areas.
