Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford is unlikely to see many clubs taking an interest in matching his wages in January, according to Beren Cross.
The LeedsLive journalist reported on 11 November that it is unlikely that Daniel Farke would even sanction the Englishman’s exit due to Mateo Joseph’s lack of experience and Joel Piroe being inconsistent.
It’s also understood that Farke sees a future in which the 31-year-old gets regular starts this season and scores important goals.
Patrick Bamford can make an impact off the bench for Leeds United
At 31, Bamford is not getting any younger or fitter so it does make sense to think of a future without him.
However, Farke is right to be apprehensive as he can still make some kind of an impact during the business end of the season.
