Gary Neville has hailed Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber, highlighting the impact the pair made in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
Timber joined Arsenal last summer, but suffered a season-ending knee injury on debut and is essentially a new signing for the Gunners. Calafiori, meanwhile, signed from Bologna last month and was handed his debut against Villa.
Oleksandr Zinchenko started at left-back in Arsenal’s opener against but Arteta switched things up against Villa as he started Timber and utilised Calafiori off the bench.
