See 6 Rangers transfer exit-linked stars pictured as Gers fly to Netherlands pre-season camp..

James Tavernier could end his stay at Rangers this summer with links to Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq. And he’s not the only one.

Philippe Clement has already signed six new men so far in the window and will do plenty more deals, so some will have to move on to make way for the signings. Skipper Tavernier has begun to find his role in the team questioned as some feel the time may be right for a parting of the ways – Clement has already picked Jack Butland as captain should the 32-year-old leave.

Gerrard is believed to keen to take him to Saudi and a big money move could prove too much for both player and club to turn down. The former Gers boss also has his eyes on Connor Goldson as he dreams of a double Ibrox reunion after shopping heavily in the UK market already. Birmingham City are also willing to spend big to take Goldson back down south for their League One campaign.

Both players may have big decisions to make in the near future but for now their focus is on the pre-season training camp in the Netherlands and they were part of the travelling party that jetted out from Glasgow Airport.

And there were a number of their teammates also present despite being linked with moves away. Todd Cantwell has been annoying supporters again with his social media and is reportedly interesting Saudi club Al-Qadsiah, where former Gers CEO James Bisgrove recently headed. He agent also ‘offered’ him to Lecce but ended up red-faced when it turned out he had message the wrong Instagram account.
