Leeds United star Charlie Cresswell has been involved in a crash with a police car outside Elland Road Stadium – injuring the officer at the scene.
West Yorkshire Police have confirmed an officer needed medical treatment after being involved in the smash with Cresswell, who was in a £50,000-plus Land Rover Defender, just hours before the club’s Championship Play-Off Semi-Final second leg, tonight.
Photographs show the wreckage of the police car in Elland Road after the collision at 10.13am today (Thursday, May 16), close to the West Stand Ticket Office, outside the club’s staff and player entrance.
