Opening Night was a dream for the Boston Celtics. From getting their championship rings to being greeted by Celtics legends to absolutely whomping the New York Knicks, 132-109, it was a perfect evening for Boston. And now, they get to follow it up with a trip to DC.
The Celtics will be in the nation’s capital on Thursday night for a date with the Washington Wizards. Old friend Malcolm Brogdon will be there to greet them (from the pine) as they take on what is projected to be one of the worst teams in the league. Kristaps Porzingis will make a return to Washington, but he’ll be glued to the bench.
