Engels has declared himself ready to face at Parkhead on Sunday.
The record signing checked-in to his new surroundings last night after a big money move from Bundesliga outfit Augsburg and he’s told that he is ready to pull on the hoops against men in Glasgow’s east end. The midfielder knows ultimately the decision will come down to his manager but he hopes to make his bow in front of a packed out 60,000 home support as the Hoops bid to make it four from four and open up a five point lead over their arch Speaking to Engels said: βI hope so. Itβs the choice of the manager so I will see about that, but Iβm always ready, so we will see. The trust that the club and the manager is giving me is a lot and itβs nice to experience. Itβs also a bonus point actually, so itβs always nice to hear this from such a really good manager. Celtic has a style that suits me really well so thatβs also one of the reasons that I wanted to join this really big club. It will be amazing to create a lot of chances and to get a lot of possession in games. Itβs a new experience so it will be really nice.β
