It was a poor mistake from Solomon. While he might not have meant to slip, his decision to try and take on Koleosho was the wrong one and the punishment was high, Koleosho going through and scoring.

Burnley manager Scott Parker said that while he did not see it in real-time, he felt as if Worrall did get the ball. In the Premier League though, VAR might have intervened and asked Bell to review his decision.
But without VAR in England’s second tier, Bell’s decision stood and Leeds missed out on what looked a contentious decision. Leeds of course had plenty of chances to score and did not need a penalty.
