Six players will depart Preston North End when contracts expire
These six players will not be appearing for PNE again
Six players will leave Preston North End when their contracts expire at the end of June.
The six players in question are Andy Boyle, Ben Pringle, Marnick Vemijl, Michael Howard, Tom Stead and Tommy Spurr.
All of these players finished the season out on loan, with the exception of Tommy Spurr who returned to Deepdale after suffering a hip injury while out on loan at Fleetwood Town.
Adam O’Reilly has already joined the professional ranks and will be joined by Jack Armer. The remaining second year scholars will leave the club.
A spokesperson for Preston North End said: “Preston North End would like to thank all the departing players for their effort and commitment to the club during their time at Deepdale and wish them all the very best in their future careers.”
Manager Alex Neil will hope the departures free up some space for recruitment this summer.
