Nottingham Forest star addresses transfer interest, reveals future plan

Despite being hit by a points deduction, Nuno Espirito Santo guided to a 17th-placed finish in the Premier League last season.

With the summer transfer window now open, Forest have been busy as usual trying to strengthen their squad.

The headline signing so far has been the £35million arrival of Elliot Anderson from Newcastle United, while Forest also raised £27million by selling Moussa Niakhate to Lyon.

Forest quickly replaced Niakhate with the signing of Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic, and they won’t want to lose another defender this summer.

All eyes have been on after his superb season with Forest last season, he recently and admitted he planned to join a “big club” after spending a year at Forest.

 

After being so open and honest about wanting to use Forest as a stepping stone to a bigger club, Forest fans are understandably worried about losing the 22-year-old Brazilian this summer.

Premier League duo but Forest are holding out for a fee similar to Everton’s valuation of Jarrad Branthwaite.
