Callum McGregor has urged Matt O’Riley to stay at for one more year before sealing a big transfer NEXT summer.
has already been the subject of offers from both Atalanta and Southampton, quickly rejected by the Hoops as they didn’t get near their valuation, but has interest from a host of other clubs. For that reason, it has seemed likely the 23-year-old would move on to the English Premier League or abroad this summer.
But it doesn’t have to be as black and white as that, insists the skipper. O’Riley is contracted until 2027 and the captain says that means the club don’t feel they have to sell now to maximise the price.
