Good News: A Texas Tech Red Raiders Football documentary will be available on Netflix……

LOOK: Texas Tech football unveils new adidas uniforms

The wait is over. The Texas Tech Athletics department’s apparel deal with adidas has officially begun, and the Texas Tech football team has unveiled its new uniforms.

Tech athletic programs, especially football and the main athletic department account on X (formerly Twitter), began teasing out the adidas unveils during the weekend. Monday morning is when things became official and the football team account wasted little time in giving the people what they wanted.

Just before 10 a.m. the football account posted the video above to reveal the team’s new look starting this season.

Much like the Under Armour uniforms, Texas Tech will have a few different combinations to choose from. The Red Raiders will sport black, red and white jerseys and pants and have white and black helmets at their disposal.

The most noticeable changes to the uniforms include bigger numbers on the front of the jerseys. The shoulders also feature two stripes (white ones on the black and red jerseys, black stripes on the white tops) that replaced the one line and Texas Tech logo that appeared on last year’s attire.

The helmets also feature white stripes down the middle rather the red line in previous looks. Players used for the video include Caleb Rogers, Behren Morton, Bryce Ramirez, C.J. Baskerville, Tahj Brooks, and Jacob Rodriguez.

Texas Tech teams are expected to release more details and uniform looks throughout the week. Fans can start pre-order adidas apparel at RedRaiderOutfitter.com. Most items listed show estimated shipping dates for mid-September.
