Finally some good news for Mohammed Kudus as West Ham make official FIFA announcement
As he prepares to serve the last of an extended five-match ban there is finally some much-welcome good news for West Ham star Mohammed Kudus.
Bad news has been following West Ham’s star boy Mohammed Kudus around like a bad smell this year.
West Ham and Ghana fans have different theories as to why.
Some Black Stars supporters believe Kudus is cursed since being handed the number 10 shirt and captaining his country.
Ghana crashed out of AFCON in January despite Kudus’ best efforts.
And after winning just one game all year, West Ham’s best player won’t be at the next one either as Ghana failed to qualify.
Kudus has cut a frustrated figure at West Ham this season under Julen Lopetegui.
Many Hammers supporters believe that’s because he has been frustrated – like they have been – about being played out of position on the left.
Not to mention the fact he had a furious bust-up with Lopetegui when singled out for criticism in the changing room at half-time of the game at Brentford.
Kudus has hit his lowest ebb at West Ham lately.
He was sent off for shoving two Spurs players in the face during a 4-1 defeat.
West Ham star Kudus at his lowest ebb ahead of return
The FA extended Kudus’ ban from three to five games, meaning he hasn’t kicked a ball for the Hammers since October 19th.
The 24-year-old will be available again on Tuesday when West Ham go to Leicester.
After the sudden brilliant performance at Newcastle, Kudus’ return gives Lopetegui a major dilemma.
And how the Hammers boss deals with the situation could make or break the club’s season.
Kudus’ misery continued in the latest international break.
He saw a last minute penalty to salvage a draw saved.
