DEAL DONE:LUTON TO RETURN MICK HARFORD…

West Ham strikers Michail Antonio and Danny Ings could leave the club before their current contracts expire, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke admitted that the Irons could go for a new striker as soon as January.

Antonio and Ings are out of contract at the end of this season, and they will be free agents next summer if they don’t agree to a new deal.

However, the Irons might look to offload both men before they reach that point to free up some space within the squad.

Allowing either of them to leave the club during the January transfer window would also lower the wage bill.

There are big question marks about West Ham’s long-term striking options, and Ings and Antonio are part of that situation.

Antonio has been with the club since 2015 and has made 311 appearances since then, scoring 82 goals and providing 40 assists.

The 34-year-old has also been a key member of the squad so far this season, having started every game for the Irons.
