Connor Goldson no longer seems to want to be playing for Rangers

Goldson’s apparent disinterest in playing for the club, as noted by Edgar, suggests a significant shift in the defender’s commitment to the club.

This change in attitude is particularly notable given the 31-year-old’s previously solid performances and his key role in the team.

However, his form dipped last season and there seems to be no resurgence in the current pre-season preparations.

This situation is further complicated by interest from Saudi Arabia, with Gerrard reportedly keen on bringing Goldson to the Middle East.

The prospect of a lucrative move could be influencing Goldson’s current lack of enthusiasm for Rangers.

Despite his past contributions, his recent performances and apparent disinterest might be a sign that he is ready for a new challenge elsewhere.

Given the interest from Saudi, Gers could potentially demand a substantial fee for Goldson, which could be beneficial for the club if they decide to part ways with the defender.

Saudi sides are known to be notoriously big spenders and this could benefit the Ibrox outfit’s rebuild for the summer.
