Celtics best player receive a heartbreaking contract announcement…

Already this week the Celtic fans have been reading about how Ally McCoist was devastated at the result and how Graeme Souness’ bizarre view of just how big the gap is between Celtic and Rangers.

Overall, the Rangers-leaning pundits are understandably gutted this week and next to offer his opinion on the Celtic defeat is former Ibrox midfielder, Barry Ferguson.

To be more precise, the result did hurt Ferguson but so did what the Celtic fans did to him whilst he was in the Parkhead director’s box during the 3-0 hammering.

Ferguson wrote in the Daily Record, “I’m not going to lie. This one hurts.

Maybe it was because I was there to watch it with my own eyes, sitting in the directors’ box at Parkhead.

“Perhaps it was the joy on the faces of the Celtic fans when they were doing their wee huddle dance and laughing in my face when their team was 3-0 up.

“It was interesting, let’s just leave it at that.”

Ferguson also went on to say that mainly the ‘hurt and disappointment’ was caused by his own team’s performance and that the Ibrox club did not ‘lose the proper way’ against Celtic but it is clear that what the fans did really annoyed him.

And it wasn’t lost on former Celtic hero, Chris Sutton.
