Celtic transfer news latest as Jakub Kaluzinski fee hiked after Real Valladolid up the ante

Real Valladolid are set to up their offer for -linked Jakub Kaluzinski.

The Polish midfielder is currently with Antalyaspor and the champions have been monitoring the 21-year-old for a year. Reports in Turkey claim a bid could still arrive from Parkhead, although the Hoops pursuit of Paulo Bernardo makes that unlikely for now, with a deal to bring the Benfica midfielder back to Glasgow on a permanent basis edging closer. A fee of £3.5million has been agreed with the Lisbon giants and now Celtic are thrashing out the details in order to get a deal done.

That has handed the initiative to Valladolid, although they are having to fork out more cash in order to land Kaluzinski. A €2.5million bid has already been rejected, with Antalyaspor holding out for €4million. claim a fresh attempt will be made by the outfit, who appear determined to get their man before any other interest can become concrete.
