Arsenal transfer news: Aaron Ramsdale to join Premier League club on loan?

are reportedly interested in signing man on loan this summer.

The 26-year-old has missed the opening part of the Gunners’ pre-season itinerary due to an extended break following a month away on international duty in Germany.

Ramsdale was part of the England squad who were gunning for Euro 2024 glory, with troops falling short at the final hurdle, losing to Spain in the final on July 14.

Failing to let down the Three Lions at a major tournament to date, is the first-choice goalkeeper for England, meaning that Arsenal’s shot-stopper was a benchwarmer for the entirety of the competition.

Ramsdale’s only appearance of the international window arrived on June 7, when a lowly-ranked Iceland side managed a shock one-goal success at Wembley in a friendly clash.

Playing just six matches in the Premier League last season, Ramsdale was emphatically demoted to second-choice keeper at the Emirates, with taking the spot in between the sticks.

With the Spaniard having now completed a permanent switch from Brentford, 26-year-old Ramsdale will have to move elsewhere in order for regular first-team action.

According to Nottingham Forest could be the top-flight outfit to hand the England international the honour of being a first-choice shot-stopper.

The report claims that the Tricky Trees wish to secure the services of Ramsdale on loan for the 2024-25 season, with a permanent swoop for the player appearing difficult currently.

It is understood that the Gunners are demanding £50m for the former Sheffield United man, a fee that Forest are unable to fork out on a keeper at this stage.
