Romano: “Luton Town said no” to selling young talent pushing for first team return next year

Luton Town have let the defender head out the exit door on a temporary basis to get some experience under his belt. He has linked up with the Southern Premier Division Central side on a one-month basis.

Odell-Bature, 19, has risen up through the academy ranks at Kenilworth Road. He has been with the Hatters since Under-13’s level and has been a regular for them at various different youth levels since then.

In this latest update regarding his situation, the Championship outfit have confirmed on their website that he has gone to Bedford Town on loan for the next four weeks. He has been named in their squad to face Bromsgrove Sporting this weekend as he looks to make his debut.

Odell-Bature will be eager to get as much game time as possible to boost his development.

The teenager broke into Luton Town’s Under-18’s side and has since made the step up to the Under-21’s.

He is still waiting on his senior debut for the Hatters and will hope to become a member of their first-team in the future.
