Everton have expressed an interest in São Paulo youngster Henrique Carmo but could face competition from Paris Saint Germain.He only made his debut for the first team in August in the 2-1 win over Vitoria but that’s not stopping the interested parties from stepping forward.
Everton and PSG have ‘already expressed interest’ in signing the player, while Al-Qadsiah, from Saudi Arabia, have asked about his situation. An unnamed Portuguese side have also ‘signalled an offer’.
Carmo’s current contract with São Paulo runs until December 2025 and the Brazilian side have already made it clear they’d like to extend that. If they are unable to do so, he will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club he likes from July of next year.
Sao Paulo have already rejected an offer form Shakhtar Donetsk in July, with the Ukrainian side offering €10m for him. That was seemingly deemed insufficient.
