The wantaway playmaker has opened a space in the Rangers and now the Ibrox side are targeting Euro 2024 star Bajrami to fill the void.
With Friday’s deadline fast approaching, will now be working overtime to complete the deal after news of the interest broke in Albania.
But the playmaker is expected to be one of as many as four transfers into Ibrox over the next 48 hours.

At this stage it remains unclear the value of the buy option which is reportedly set to be included as part of the deal.
Having been born in Switzerland, Bajrami started his career with Grasshoppers Zurich before moving to Italian club Empoli and impressing in the Italian top flight.
Now set to complete a switch to Rangers until at least the end of the season, Bajrami has 26 caps for the Albanian national team for whom he has scored five goals.
The most famous of which came at this summer’s Euro 2024, when the 25-year-old scored the fastest goal in European Championships history.
The report claims that Rangers have struck a loan-to-buy for the Sassuolo midfielder, who suffered relegation following a €6m (£5m) move to the now Serie B side last summer.
