West Ham United transfer U-turn as medical booked after Newcastle United & Man Utd ‘talks’
West Ham United are set to complete the signing of Nice defender Jean Clair-Todibo.
The Hammers first agreed to sign the 24-year-old last month but talks stalled as he held out for a move to Juventus. But with the Italian giants unable to reach an agreement, Julen Lopetegui’s side have managed to convince Todibo to move to England following fresh talks in the last 24 hours.
Todibo is flying to London today to undergo his medical and discuss personal terms. The deal is an initial season-long loan with an option to buy for £35million. Juventus remain interested in Todibo and are still trying to do a deal but time is rapidly running out.
