Everton have completed their fourth signing of the summer transfer window. The club has now confirmed the arrival of Jesper Lindstrom from Napoli on an initial loan deal. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder follows Tim Iroegbunam, Iliman Ndiaye and Jack Harrison as a new arrival for what promises to be a historic season, as say farewell to Goodison Park before their move to Bramley Moore dock.
The deal includes an option to make it permanent at the end of the campaign.
Lindstrom arrives after a tough season at Napoli, although the Denmark international had showcased promise with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga before he made the switch to Serie A last summer. In two seasons with the German club he scored 14 goals in 80 appearances, operating on either flank and behind the centre-forward at times. Lindstrom was part of the team that won the in 2022 too.
