Atalanta have made a THIRD offer for Matt O’Riley but it still isn’t enough to tempt Celtic into selling.

Of all the interested parties in the Hoops midfielder, the Serie A side seem the most proactive in trying to make something happen and have so far had two bids booted out by the Scottish champions. Fabrizio Romano is now reporting they’ve come back again, this time with a “€17/18m package.”

It is still some way short of Celts’ valuation and they want to see their record sale smashed – which was £25m for both Kieran Tierney to Arsenal and Jota to Al-Ittihad. That means Atalanta will have to up the ante considerably but Romano adds that negotiations between the clubs are ongoing “to make it happen.”
