TRANSFER WAR ERUPTS: Everton Click Top Clubs Engage in Bidding War for Prized Player worth £19-30M this summer…

Everton have been linked with a move for Jesper Lindstrom but what could the player potentially bring to the side? The 24-year-old is a Danish international winger who joined Napoli from Eintracht Frankfurt for €30million last summer.

On Saturday, reported that have opened talks with Napoli to sign Lindstrom and the winger is their next top target. He added that negotiations are underway with the Serie A side open to selling the wide man if they receive a good proposal, although there had been no talks with the Blues for right-back Jackson Tchatchoua from Verona despite recent links.

Born in Taastrup, a railway town which is a suburb of Copenhagen, situated some 11 miles out from the centre of the Danish capital, on February 29, 2000 – giving him a Leap Year Day birthday – Lindstrom played 65 games and scored 15 goals for Brondby in his homeland before his switch to the Bundesliga in July 2021. He made 80 appearances and netted 14 times for Eintracht but has struggled in Italy, failing to register in 29 outings for Napoli last season.

He’d be fourth for interceptions on 2.85, an area topped by McNeil on 3.04; eighth for picking-ups (of loose possession) on 2.85 behind leader Lucas Paqueta of West Ham United on 4.15; and ninth for successful defensive actions with a 56% success rate, although McNeil is again first on 60%.
